The importance of chiropractic care

A healthy spine allows your body to function at its fullest potential.

Your spine provides the underlying structure for all of the muscles, bones, and joints in your body. The spine, more importantly, protects and surrounds your nervous system. Nerves that branch off from the spinal cord go through the spinal vertebrae, communicating messages from the brain to cells, tissues, and organs. A misaligned or damaged spine interferes with your nervous system’s ability to communicate with the rest of your body, resulting in symptoms that can happen immediately when the spine is damaged, or occur slowly over time.

At Peterborough Max Living Chiropractic Centre, spinal alignment is merely the first step in improving your well-being and provides numerous health benefits. We assess and align your spine, allowing your body to optimize its nerve supply to heal naturally. In addition, this alignment:

  • Eliminates unpleasant symptoms
  • Improves blood pressure
  • Increases happiness
  • Improves recovery times
  • Enhances athletic performance
  • Reduces need for medications
  • Strengthens immunity
  • Improves sleeping habits

Spinal Correction Improves Overall Health

Chiropractic care is the largest non-surgical healthcare profession in North America that does not involve pharmaceuticals in treatment. Our  chiropractors practice spinal realignment and correction to relieve pain, increase vitality, and promote overall well-being — naturally.

Corrective Spinal Care for Your Health Concerns

Corrective spinal care maximizes your health, improves immune system function, and helps prevent and recover from pain, illness, and disease. Chiropractic is used to effectively treat Back pain, joint pain, headache, whiplash, numbness, neck and jaw pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, sciatica, Fibromyalgia and chronic pain.

Improving Your Health Starts Here

Our team is committed to helping you restore the proper alignment of your spine, leaving you better equipped to thrive everyday and prevent illness. We take your health seriously, and do not guess at which treatments will benefit you. Your visit to our clinic involves a thorough analysis of your spine, typically including a digital nerve analysis, posture assessment, range-of-motion, orthopedic and neurological exam, and if necessary, x-rays.
